Filipijnen Eiland Hoppen

Bijzondere rondreis Filipijnen

This exclusive trip through the Philippines will treat you to the most idyllic beaches and fantastic cultural life. But ... don't think it's just islands and beaches in the Philippines. Here, you will also find beautiful rice terraces, waterfalls and caves. During this trip you will work on a diving project and remove waste and plastic from the ocean. Although this is already an amazing experience as the Philippines is the ultimate diving destination, it is not only about rolling up your sleeves, there is certainly time to enjoy your 'picture perfect' custom adventure through crystal clear water, pure white sandy beaches, limestone rocks, impressive bays, a beautiful underwater world, dozens of uninhabited islands and towering rice terraces. Stroll through the famous Chocolate Hills of Bohol (not suitable for consumption), snorkel with clown fish (Nemo!), turtles and stingrays and take a boat trip through the enchanting underground river of Palawan. From interaction with local communities to a lot of built-in leisure time, this trip is both useful and liberating. All this off the beaten track and under the guidance of an experienced local guide during the entire trip.

In the morning the transfer to Cebu City Airport follows for the flight to Puerto Princesa, the gateway to all the magic that Palawan has to offer. The Philippines has more than 7000 islands, but if you ask for the pearl, then Palawan is the unanimous answer. That is not an exaggeration, because in 2014 Palawan won the title of "best island in the world". In the afternoon we visit the special Iwahig prison. This prison in unique because there are no walls around it and almost never anyone "escaped". The prison and the land around it are about twice as large as Paris and almost 3000 prisoners work and live together here as if it were a large village. We can walk around the prison freely, learn about the unique system and see what it's like to live here. There is always a prisoner who can tell you something about his life here!

Luli Island gets its name from the phrase “Lulubog-Lilitaw” meaning to sink and rise - the island disappears at high tide.
