Projects

Far from here, close to you

Every trip in our portfolio starts with volunteer work. You will have the choice between several projects so that you can choose something that is close to you, even if you are far from home. By starting the trip with a project you can familiarise yourself with the local culture and its history, providing you with more knowledge about the country during your trip, which will have a positive effect on your experience.

Through doing volunteer work you will transfer knowledge to areas where this is desperately needed. Below you will find an overview of the projects that we offer and you can choose something that is in line with your own passions. After selecting a project, you can view the exclusive trip.

Philippiness

Our waste does not belong under water, but more than eight million tons of it enters the ocean each year and confuses and injures marine life. That is why we are committed to a cleaner sea during this trip and we will clean up the coral reef further by means of 10 Dive against Debris scuba dives.

To participate in this volunteer project you do not need to have a diving license (PADI). You can get this during the project.

Western Australia

Australia's beautiful coral reefs are also threatened by plastic. The oceans are full of it and marine animals become entangled in the plastic waste. Our waste. That is why we are committed to a cleaner ocean during part of our undiscovered Western Australia trip. During these six days we make a dive every day and we collect as much plastic and other waste as possible from the sea.

You will not only have a great experience as a diver, you will also be part of the larger movement to protect the oceans and keep them clean for marine life.

To participate in this volunteer project you do not need to have a diving license (PADI). You can get this during the project.

Greece

Around the Greek islands is an ocean full of waste and plastic, which has fatal consequences for marine life. We collect as much waste as possible from the sea and from the beaches, to ensure that no more waste ends up in the ocean.

To participate in this volunteer project you do not need to have a diving license (PADI). You can get this during the project.

Wildlife Conservation
Wildlife Conservation

South Africa

Protect wild animal species and their habitats in South Africa to prevent them from extinction. You support the ecology department, vets, wildlife teams and APU (Anti Poaching Unit) by doing conservation, research and anti-poaching work around the Big Five. Together with coordinators, you set off each day to help every department advance, so tasks and projects vary daily.

Seal Care

The Netherlands

During your day in the centre you will contribute to the recovery of the seals and you will experience the different phases that they go through up close. After this you ensure that they can be released in a healthy sea after recovery.
